Meena

Music has been part of Meena's life since her childhood in South India, where her mother taught veena and temple festivals filled the streets with song. For 27 years she has trained under her guru, Shri Alappuzha Vidu, and since 2011 she has shared that tradition with more than 100 students — children and adults — across the Greater Austin area.

Her own artistic journey includes two acclaimed albums, Anandamirtham and Anandamirtham Volume 2, and a deep commitment to nurturing confident young performers.
